A Note from the Doctor

Just Move

Yes, we all know we need to exercise more.  Between 12 hour work days, the kids, ballet rehearsals, and baseball games what’s a woman to do?  Well, here’s some good news.  You don’t have to go to the gym to get your exercise.  When you go to the grocery store park in a far away space.  Turn up the music and dance while you clean the house.  Could you put the kids in a wagon and pull them while you walk?  Of course, your goal is 30 minutes of cardio movement at least five days per week and 30 minutes of resistance training each week. This does not have to be continuous.  You certainly can divide the time into a 15 block during your lunch break and another after work.  The key is to make it a habit.
