One of my favorite things is to go for a walk. Yes, even in Houston! Have you ever tried really being present while walking? By this I mean paying attention to each step you take and how your foot feels as it touches the ground. Look at the trees. Do you see a bird or a squirrel? What do you hear? Can you feel the breeze? This is practice in being mindful.
This can be your daily meditation and exercise too.
