The final lessons of The Blue Zones involve finding community.
Lesson seven encourages finding a spiritual community and being involved. Buettner suggests branching out and exploring a new tradition if you do not already have one.
Lesson eight encourages making family a priority. He suggests finding one area of your home where everyone can hang out and stay connected. Make eating dinner together a special ritual that you do everyday. Put family first.
His final lesson, number nine, involves building an inner circle. Stay close to those people who inspire you to live better. Don’t be a grump:) Spend time with your friends. Social contact and closeness are vitally important.
I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I have.
